Minnie Sophia Shafley, daughter of William Edgar Shafley and Pheatta Catherine Shirton, was born 13 Apr 1895 and died 7 Nov 1949 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Lorne and Minnie had three daughters. The third daughter, Ruth Juanitta, who lived for a little over a month, is buried in Hamilton, Ontario. There are also stones in that cemetery for Minnie and Lorne, but they are buried in Smithville Cemetery in Wainfleet, Ont. Canada
